Closed Rupture of Flexor Profundus Tendon in the Palm

S. KUMAR
R. JAMES

From the Coventry and Warwickshire Hospital

Closed ruptures of flexor tendons are rare. Most of them are associated with some underlying pathology. This is a case report of closed rupture of FDP tendon to the little finger in the palm at the level of the lumbrical origin. After extensive search of literature we could not find a similar case.
