Irreducible Dislocation of the Metacarpophalangeal Joint of the Thumb due to Tendon InterpositionFrom the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, Nigeria
Two cases of irreducible dorsal dislocation of the metacarpopbalangeal joint of the thumb are reported. In both cases, there was interposition of the tendon of flexor pollicis longus. Open reduction was required to achieve successful reduction.
