Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in Madelungs DeformityFrom the Orthopaedic Clinic, University of Modena, Italy
The authors describe a case of carpal tunnel syndrome due to Madelungs deformity. They discuss the pathophysiological causes of median nerve entrapment to explain the compression which occurs in this disease and its clinical implications. They take also into consideration the surgical approach to the carpal tunnel in this particular condition.
