Aseptic Necrosis of the Capitate Secondary to Gauchers Disease: A Case ReportFrom the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Central Hospital, Hilleroed, Denmark Correspondence: John Wounlund, Osebergvej 15, 3650 Olstykke, Denmark. We report a case with aseptic necrosis of the capitate in a young patient with Gauchers disease and no fracture of the carpus. The value of technetium bone scintigraphy and computer tomographic scanning are discussed.
