Features of Algodystrophy Ten Years after Colles FractureFrom the University Department of Orthopaedics, Southmead Hospital, Bristol Correspondence: J. Field, B.Sc., F.R.C.S., F.R.C.S.Ed., University Department of Orthopaedics, Bristol Royal Infirmary, Bristol BS2 8HW. The long-term outcome of algodystrophy is unknown. Ten years after Colles fracture, 26% of 55 cases showed features of the syndrome. The finding of poor finger function three months following the fracture correlated significantly with the presence of components of algodystrophy after ten years.
