Leuven UZ-Pellenberg, Weligerveld 1, 3212-Lubbeek, Belgium Based on five observations of recurrent carpal tunnel syndrome, a distally incomplete section of the flexor retinaculum can be identified on clinical grounds: the wrist flexion test becomes negative and the tourniquet test still remains positive.
