Fracture Dislocation of the Fifth Metacarpal Resulting in Compression of the Deep Branch of the Ulnar NerveFrom the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, St. Vincents Hospital, Dublin, Ireland Correspondence: Mr. Peter ORourke, FRCSI, 21 College Park Way, Ballinteer, Dublin 16, Ireland. A volar fracture dislocation of the base of the fifth metacarpal resulted in compression of the deep branch of the ulnar nerve. Operative correction of the deformity resulted in full recovery.
