Congenital Fusion of the Scaphoid, Trapezium, Trapezoid and Capitate

C. INGRAM, R. F. HALL and M. GONZALEZ

From the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery, Cook County Hospital and the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, University of Illinois, Chicago, USA

Correspondence: Robert F. Hall Jr MD, 1835 West Harrsion Street, Room 620-Main, Chicago, IL 60612-9986, USA.

We describe an unusual case of carpal coalition in an otherwise asymptomatic 28-year-old man. The combination of scaphoid, trapezium, trapezoid and capitate fusion detailed in this article has not, to the best of our knowledge, been previously recorded.
