E-mail: bogoch{at}istar.ca We describe the case of a 36-year-old woman who presented with an unusual seronegative monoarthropathy of the right wrist and who was treated with fusion by the method of Clayton (1965). The patient probably sustained a metacarpal fracture during intramedullary Steinmann pin insertion, and subsequently developed a pseudarthrosis.
