Dorso-Ulnar Osteocutaneous Reverse Flow Flap of the ThumbFrom the Service de Chirurgie Plastique, Chirurgie de la Main, Hôpital Pellegrin-Tondu, Bordeaux, France Correspondence: Dr Philippe Pelissier, Service de Chirurgie Plastique, Chirurgie de la Main, Hôpital Pellegrin-Tondu, 33076 Bordeaux, France. Three cases of distal thumb reconstruction with a reverse pedicled osteocutaneous flap taken from the dorso-ulnar aspect of the first metacarpal are presented. Even though the indications are rare, this flap is useful for the reconstruction of distal osteocutaneous defects of the thumb where more complex procedures are not feasible or considered as excessive.
