Locking of the Proximal Interphalangeal Joint of the Little FingerFrom the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, The Radcliffe Infirmary, Oxford, UK Correspondence: Mr. H P Giele, Dept of Plastic Surgery, The Radcliffe Infirmary, Oxford OX2 6HE, UK, E-mail: henk.giele{at}surgery.oxford.ac.uk Locking of the metacarpophalangeal joints is well documented, but locking of other joints in the finger has not been described. We present a case of locking of the little finger proximal interphalangeal joint due to an osteophyte impinging on the extensor tendon.
