E-mail: rahulnerlikar{at}hotmail.com Chronic sclerosing osteomyelitis in a metacarpal is presented. Bacterial cultures were negative, and radiographs and an isotope scan were non-specific. Histopathological assessment confirmed the diagnosis. Iliac bone grafting resulted in symptomatic relief to the patient.
