E-mail: michael.osti{at}lkhf.at Combined fracture of the scaphoid and capitate bones with concurrent scapholunate dissociation, but without severe dislocation, is a rare lesion which results in significant carpal instability and requires operative treatment. We report a case of this unusual injury and its functional result after 20 months.
