Meshed Adhesive Tape for the Treatment of Crushed Fingers in ChildrenFrom Woodend Hospital, Aberdeen
Over 300 children a year are treated at the Royal Aberdeen Childrens Hospital for crushed finger tips. We estimate that 5.8% of children, under 13 years of age, suffer this injury, mainly in domestic (72.5%) or car doors (12%). The treatment of partial avulsions of pulp with nail dislocation is described.
