The Incidence of Dupuytrens Disease in Patients with Rheumatoid ArthritisFrom the Universities of Manchester and Nottingham Correspondence: J. Noble, M.B., Ch.M., F.R.C.S.E., University of Manchester, Hope Hospital, Eccles Old Road, Salford. Some conditions commonly associated with Dupuytrens disease are well-known. No attention has been paid to conditions with a significantly low incidence of Dupuytrens. A large number of patients with rheumatoid arthritis were studied, and were found to have a statistically significantly lower incidence of Dupuytrens disease, than was observed by the same clinicians in age, sex, matched controlled patients.
